Graymoor Friary

Acting as General Contractor for the Franciscan Friars, The Sisca Organization constructed a 50,000 square foot hill top community, that included approximately 25 housing units, a commercial kitchen, a community area and a new chapel.Sisca self-performed the site work for this project. In order to pour the foundations, Sisca cut into the rugged mountaintop with extensive blasting and hydraulic hammering. The rock was crushed and removed as “item 4” gravel material.

The New Fairfield, CT Senior Center

The Sisca Organization constructed an expansion to the town's existing Senior Center. Here is what their client said about his experience with Sisca.

"I've worked with lots of construction companies over the years, both in private and municipal settings. When things go smoothly, you may never appreciate the skill that goes in to getting the job done, but when there are challenges inherent in a site (as was the case with our project) you get to see a company's performance in the face of adversity. Time and again, we saw Sisca go over and above, and the quality of their work was excellent.

"The Sisca people...weren't just good at their jobs, they were good people."

- - First Selectman John Hodge, regarding the New Fairfield, CT Senior Center.

Portuguese Cultural Center

The Sisca Organizaton built the Portuguese Cultural Center in Danbury, CT.  Here is what their client said about their experience.

"Sisca was able to use value engineering to save us $250,000 on our 47,000 square foot project. They worked around the clock, shoulder to shoulder with our volunteers. They were as dedicated to the project as we were. We were in our new building in 10 months. We couldn't be happier with the job they did."

-- Agostinho Ribiero, President, Portuguese Cultural Center, Danbury CT.
